What MyTax is

MyTax is a free tax awareness and estimation tool for Indian taxpayers. It helps you understand your tax situation in plain language, estimate what you may owe or get back, and learn which ITR form to file.

What MyTax is NOT

  • It is not a tax filing service. It does not submit returns to the Income Tax Department.
  • It is not a Chartered Accountant and does not provide professional tax advice.
  • It is not a substitute for qualified professional guidance for complex situations.
  • It does not cover corporate taxation (Private Limited, OPC, Public Limited companies).

Accuracy and estimates

All calculations are estimates based on information you provide and tax slabs verified against the Finance Act. Tax laws change. While we update our data after each Union Budget, we do not guarantee that all figures are current or accurate for your specific situation. Always verify with a qualified CA before filing.

No warranty

MyTaxis provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of tax calculations. Use it as a starting point, not as a final answer.

Limitation of liability

MyTax and its creators shall not be liable for any tax penalties, interest, losses, or damages of any kind arising from reliance on calculations, estimates, or information provided by this tool. You are solely responsible for your tax filings.

Your data

All financial information you enter is stored only in your browser's local storage and is never sent to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details. By using MyTax, you accept that data stored locally is your own responsibility.

These terms apply exclusively to mytax.thikada.com. They do not apply to thikada.com or any other Thikada subdomain. Each product has its own independent terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
